Red Bull TV To Release New Documentary About “What Happened To Charles Hamilton?”

It's safe to say Charles Hamilton has had himself quite the series of highs & lows in the music industry over the past few years, from his meteoric rise & fall a couple years ago to his resurgence last year, the Harlem rapper has been through it all. But unfortunately as of late, he's once again disappeared from the game for some reason, and one question remains on everyone’s mind... “What's happened Charles Hamilton?”

Well luckily for fans, Red Bull TV is about to release a new documentary on December 2, aka tomorrow, called “Faultlines,” and it dives deeper into the question of that everyone is wondering. On Tuesday, Red Bull announced the upcoming Fred Scott-directed film by way of a new trailer, which follows Charles around for a full year as he re-enters the industry, and details his come up, and personal struggle that essentially made him leave the game.

“It was so important for me to share my story right now,” says Hamilton. “I'm grateful to my family for intervening because I didn't want help. I just wanted to create in my room in the dark. I have a newfound passion in advocating for artists, young people and other men of color that may be unsure of beginning the process toward wellness. I want to make an impact in this world, whether that's through my music or my life's story."

Wu-Tang Clan's U-God Sues Rest Of Group For $2.5M

New York, NY – All’s not well in the Wu-Tang Clan as original member U-God is taking RZA and the rest of the group to court because he claims he’s owed at least $2.5 million, according to TMZ.

U-God is claiming that he hasn’t received his cut from his work on 170 songs across 12 Wu-Tang albums. He also says he has an agreement with the group to receive two annual payments from merchandise sales from the group and cites the $2 million deal for the Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album that he’s also due a cut from. He says he hasn’t been getting his proper cut for at least six years now.

In the court documents, U-God reportedly places most of the blame on RZA and his brother Mitchell “Divine” Diggs, saying that they have been instrumental in blocking him from his fair pay.

Vince Staples Announces First Headlining Tour

Vince Staples is continuing his ascent through the rap game with the (Steve Zissou-inspired) announcement of his first headlining tour The Life Aquatic Tour. Def Jam shared the 26-city North American trek via press release. The excursion starts February 24 in San Diego and wraps up April 9 in Phoenix.

The Long Beach rapper will be promoting his Prima Donna EP, which features the Outkast-sampled “War Ready” and the A$AP Rocky-assisted title track.

Traveling with Staples is singer Kilo Kish, who is featured on the Prima Donna track “Loco” and appeared on “Dopeman” and “Surf” from Summertime ’06.

Tickets for The Life Aquatic Tour go on pre-sale Thursday (December 1) from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time. Tickets will be available to the public Friday (December 2) starting at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster, Ticketfly and AXS.

Staples will round out 2016 by touring Australia with Flume.

The 23-year-old MC also debuted his Beats 1 radio show SEABS, which stands for Section Eight Arthouse Broadcast System, on Sunday.

Kodak Black Released In Florida, Moved To South Carolina To Face Sex Charge

Kodak Black has been released from the St. Lucie County jail, though he isn't yet a free man, reports the Sun Sentinel. Instead, he has been extradited to South Carolina and placed in the custody of the state's deputies, as he now faces a sexual battery charge stemming from an alleged incident in Florence, SC in early February. 

Kodak's name, Dieuson Octave, can be found on the St. Lucie County Sheriff's release report, which states that the young emcee was released on Monday (Nov. 28) at 3:13 PM ET. "It does say that has been turned over to South Carolina via the Florence County Sheriff’s Office,” says Bryan Beaty, head of the Public Office of Information at the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, in response to an inquiry about Kodak's release. 

Kodak was arrested in April after being involved in a high-speed police chase. He was released on bail the next day, though he was sent back to jail a month later due to outstanding warrants from 2015. In August, a judge decided to place Kodak on house arrest, after being convinced -- in part by the lawyers of Atlantic Records -- to forego a potentially lengthy jail sentence, due to the promise of his music career. Right before his scheduled release, though, two more warrants were discovered -- a misdemeanor drug charge in St. Lucie County as well as the aforementioned sex charge in South Carolina.

After pleading no contest to the drug charge, he has now served his misdemeanor sentence in St. Lucie County. He now must remain in South Carolina, where he will presumably begin his sexual battery trial. 

Kodak's lawyers seem to be pleased with their client's transfer to South Carolina. "We are firmly convinced that he will be vindicated in that charge and shortly be set free," said attorney Gary Kollin, based in Fort Lauderdale. "He's looking forward to getting to South Carolina so he can go on with his life and career." 

As of now, the details of Kodak's confinement in South Carolina are unclear, though his team is confident that he is one step closer to achieving his freedom. 

Tyga Sued Over Ferrari Following 2 Repossessions

After having his red Ferrari repossessed twice, Tyga is now reportedly being sued over the luxury whip.

According to TMZ, an individual named Alex Benedict is suing Tyga after the rapper failed to make his lease payments on a Ferrari 488. In the documents, Benedict claims they agreed to a deal back in May but Tyga didn’t pay up, forcing him to have the car repossessed twice.

The car was first repossessed on August 31 but was returned a few days later after Tyga coughed up some of the money. The Compton, California rapper was then supposed to return the car on October 9 but, perhaps unsurprisingly, failed to do so. As a result, the car was repossessed again on November 8.

Benedict is seeking a reported $150,000 in damages.

Tyga later took to Twitter to react to the news, criticizing TMZ for repeatedly reporting on his apparent legal troubles.

“Y’all ain’t figure out tmz agenda yet? Mike Will Made-It Survives Hit-And-Run Accident Without Injury

Super producer Mike Will Made-It can't be stopped, even when a dangerous driver gets in his way. Last night, Mike Will reported via Twitter that he had survived a hit-and-run accident that smashed up his Mercedes-Benz. With a video of the smashed up vehicle, the Georgia hitmaker captioned his tweet: “Blessed to make it out, survived a hit n run last night in my 63, thank God for AMG @MBUSA."

Mike Will has been experiencing many blessings recently, as the producer recently hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles." This is what the producer had to say about the feat:

“To be able to put Gucci Mane, the person that gave me my first opportunity in music, and Rae Sremmurd, the debut artist from my [imprint, Eardrummer], on what’s both [Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane’s] biggest record ever, and the first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 for both, is something I could have never imagined or dreamed of ... I couldn’t have asked for a better moment to be a part of.”

Ace Of Diamonds Strip Club Gets Health Warning Over Mally Mall's Monkey Visit

Los Angeles health officials weren’t happy about the appearance of Mally Mall’s monkey friend at the Ace Of Diamonds strip club on Halloween. The L.A. County Department of Public Health slapped the club with an official warning after the rapper’s pet capuchin accompanied Mall to the popular venue, according to TMZ. Another violation could mean the club gets shut down.

Inspectors also reportedly posted “No Animals” signs around the spot, to remind customers (and staff) that the only animals allowed on the premises are service animals and police dogs.

Mall hosted a party at the club on Halloween, where the monkey got a ton of attention.

“[The dancers] loved it. They all wanted to hold him. He was hanging out with some of them. He was chilling. He got a few numbers,” Mall told TMZ at the time.

A Los Angeles strip club may soon find itself in hot water, all due to a monkey.

On Halloween, Hip __hop artist Mally Mall hosted a party at Ace Of Diamonds dressed as a sheikh, with his pet monkey, Bubbs, in tow. According to TMZ, soon after the appearance from Mall and his capuchin monkey at the club, the Los Angeles County’s Department of Public Health was made aware of the monkey’s visit.

Given that Ace of Diamonds has a license to sell food, live animals aren’t allowed in the venue, according to official safety codes. The club doesn’t serve food, so it’s unclear if the appearance of Bubbs will in fact be considered a violation.

Despite the trouble Mally Mall and his monkey friend may have put the strip club in, the producer/writer says his pet was loved by both the owner and strippers.

“The owner Sam wants to buy a monkey,” Mally Mall said while speaking with TMZ. “They love how chill he was. That was his first strip club. We took him a long time ago to Crazy Horse in Las Vegas one time. This was the longest he lasted. He partied the whole night. I can’t believe it … They loved it. They all wanted to hold him. He was hanging out with some of them. He was chilling. He got a few numbers.”

Hip Hop Single Sales: Rae Sremmurd, The Weeknd & D.R.A.M.

New York City, NY – This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, Rae Sremmurd and The Weeknd remain at #1 and #2 for their singles “Black Beatles” and “Starboy” respectively. Kehlani Announces The Title Of Her Debut Album

While she didn't release a project in 2016, Kehlani has had a big year. "Gangsta" and "CRZY" saw the Bay Area singer breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, making her next project easily her most anticipated. Today, Kehlani has given us a clue as to what to expect from her next project, which will serve as her official debut album, announcing the title to be SWEETSEXYSAVAGE on Twitter.

The title is immediately reminiscent of TLC's 1994 classic CrazySexyCool, and seeing that Kehlani's music often pulls from that era of R&B and gives it a modern twist, it's a natural reference.

Hip Hop Reacts To News Of Fidel Castro's Death

Havana, CU – The former president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, was pronounced dead yesterday (November 25) in an official announcement made by his brother and predecessor, Raul Castro, on the country’s state television. The iconic leader was 90 years old.

Hip Hop responded by celebrating the leader’s life as a revolutionary. Besides bringing a new regime to communist Cuba, he was known for meeting with Malcolm X and other leaders of the movement against systemic racism in the United States.

Castro was also known by many as a feared dictator for his reign that spanned from 1959 to 2008, the amount of time 10 United States presidents served in office. Despite a reported literacy rate of 99 percent and a strong healthcare system, he caused millions to flee the island country because of oppression.

While Nas, Rapsody and Paris reflected on Castro’s role as a revolutionary, Eskeerdo — a Miamian of Cuban descent — and Uncle Luke expressed joy at the dictator’s passing.

Born Julieanna Goddard, YesJulz revealed details of her and 2 Chainz’s business venture for the capsule release with the Los Angeles Times. Coupled with YesJulz’s #NeverNotWorking social media campaign, the budding entrepreneur hopes this initial collaboration blossoms into future endeavors.

Erykah Badu Says She's Working On A Collab EP With D.R.A.M.

Last month, Erykah Badu teamed up with D.R.A.M. for the record “WiFi,” off his highly anticipated debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M., but it turns out that’s not all the two have been working on. During a recent interview on the RapRadar podcast this week, Erykah confirmed that her & D.R.A.M. are working on a collaboration EP, which “Wifi” was originally intended for first.

“’Wifi’ is actually a part of our EP. But we using it for his album right now, but we’re doing an EP together.” Badu says.

While no other information was revealed on the project, Erykah did go on to give her praises of D.R.A.M., even going as far as to say she was “intimidated” when working in the studio with him. “I was intimidated. He has something very special. You know the way he writes, the way he performs, the way he fills the room with his presence.”

Here's Your Last Chance To See Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def In Concert

After the news broke that Yasiin Bey, also known as Mos Def, will be allowed to leave South Africa, the Black Star rapper has announced his final run on United States tour dates.

According to Billboard, Bey will be performing a show in December at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York before doing a three-concert series at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He will perform classic cuts as well as new music he’s been working on.

Then, that’s all the Mos Def shows America will ever see as the rapper reiterated his retirement from music last month.

The New Yorker was arrested earlier this year at customs in South Africa after attempting to travel with a “world passport.” After apologizing to the government, the country has now allowed him to leave.

Gucci Mane Proposes To Girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir At Atlanta Hawks Game

It appears Gucci Mane is finally ready to settle down with his longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir. On Tuesday night, the ATL veteran decided to propose to his girlfriend during the middle of the Atlanta Hawks game, and the best part about it is that it was on the kiss cam for the whole stadium to watch as well.

Phife Dawg's Solo Album Arriving Early 2017

The Tribe resurgence is in full effect. After their first album in 18 years has hit number one on the Billboard charts this past week, A Tribe Called Quest is on the people's minds and iPods once again. In the spirit of return, a block of the Saint Albans neighborhood in Queens, New York was officially named "Malik 'Phife Dawg' Way" this weekend, and Phife Dawg's wife Desha Head Taylor was there to deliver some very exciting news. Apparently, we can be expecting Phife's solo LP to be dropping sometime very soon. Here's her statement:

"His solo album will be out probably sometime during the first quarter of 2017. We’re working on it now ... He completed his entire solo album before he transitioned, so we’re excited about releasing that.”

Taylor also spoke on her husband's happy time recording We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service:

“There were times where he was working on the album where he would send me video footage of him rhyming over some of the beats that you would hear on the album,” she said. “He would make a certain face when hearing the beat, he would make this frown like ‘I’m feeling this,’ and you would hear his verses in the back. He was really excited about this project.”

Kanye West Reportedly Axes Remaining U.S. Tour Dates, Posts 99 Photos Of Clothing To Instagram

Kanye West canceled his second show at The Forum in L.A. in 17 days on Sunday (November 20), although that could just be the beginning.

L.A. Times music reporter Gerrick Kennedy posted that the rest of the U.S. shows on the Saint Pablo tour (which total more than 20) have been axed.

Just got word from a source that @kanyewest informed his crew that remaining dates of U.S. #SaintPabloTour are nixed.

This weekend’s show in L.A. had been organized to compensate for one he had cut short on November 3 due to problems with his voice. The latest cancellation follows Yeezy’s Sacramento concert that featured a rant that covered all manner of topics from President-elect Donald Trump to Jay Z to Beyoncé, before he left the stage abruptly after only 30 minutes. Days before that he caused a stir with another rant proclaiming his support for Trump.

Fans with tickets for the L.A. show or the Sacramento show have since been offered refunds.

And just to make things even stranger, it seems like Kanye has gotten even more sidetracked from his music — posting fashion photos on Instagram.

In total, Kanye (or someone with his password) posted 99 blurry, uncaptioned photos to his once-dormant Instagram account, featuring various items of clothing being worn by various models. As it stands, those photos are currently the only ones on his account (bar one still from the movie Total Recall that he posted in September when he first joined the photo and video-sharing platform).

“Famous” director Eli Russell Linnetz referred to the photos as an “installation” with his own IG post, so it’s possible he’s the one behind the gallery. HipHopDX reached out to Linnetz’s people for clarification but didn’t immediately hear back.

Ticketmaster Issues Refunds For Kanye West's Abridged Sacramento Concert

Kanye West has been mocked and ridiculed all over social media for the unpredictable rants that have been the focal points of his last two "Saint Pablo" show, beginning last week in San Jose (Nov. 17), when he admitted his admiration of Donald Trump. The most upset group of people are likely the Sacramento fans who, on Saturday night (Nov. 19), had to endure a lengthy spiel -- during which he called out Beyonce and Jay Z -- only to have him abruptly end the show after just three songs. And this was after he was reportedly an hour and a half late to start the show.

Lucky for fans who bought their tickets via Ticketmaster, the company is providing a full refund for last night's show, reports ABC10. The refunds will be automatically credited to fans' Ticketmaster accounts within 5-7 business days. 

Kanye had cancelled a show earlier this month in LA, and he had personally promised full refunds to the audience. He stopped the show because his voice had given out, after being onstage for about 45 minutes. Ticketmaster soon responded by saying that Kanye doesn't have the authority to issue ticket refunds. Last night's abridged show in Sacramento is the third concert he's cancelled on the "Saint Pablo" tour, which began on Aug. 25. The first cancellation occurred, understandably, on Oct. 2 in NYC, immediately after he had heard that Kim had been robbed at gunpoint in Paris. 

Though the whole show only lasted about 30 minutes -- most of which was taken up by Kanye's tirade -- fans did get to witness the public reconciliation between Ye and Kid Cudi, as well as a joint performance of "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1." 

The Game Loses $10 Million Sexual Assault Case

The Game might be facing a serious penalty after a jury found him liable in the $10 million sexual assault case that has resulted in a year-long battle.

The jury made their ruling against the Compton rapper yesterday (November 18) after four days of hearings, theJasmineBRAND.com reports. The damages that The Game has to fork over have not been released yet and either haven’t been filed yet or will be determined in a separate hearing.

A woman named Priscilla Rainey first filed the lawsuit back in August of last year claiming that The Game assaulted her when she was a participant on his reality show, She Got Game. Rainey said that she went out with the rapper for what she thought was a mandatory date with The Game at a bar in Illinois after taping for the show. While there, she said he got drunk and high and forced himself upon her, putting “his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.”

Initially, a judge gave Rainey a default judgment because The Game didn’t respond to the case. He fought back saying he was never properly served the papers.

After an intense back-and-forth on social media between the woman and The Game, the judge ruled in April that the proceedings of the case would remain confidential.

The Game maintained his innocence throughout the process and has yet to publicly comment on the ruling.

Kanye West Says A Vote For Donald Trump Doesn't Mean Black Lives & Women's Rights Don't Matter

San Jose, CA – Before, Kanye West was very vocal about racism in America. Calling out President George Bush’s lack of urgency in the wake of the Hurricane Katrina devastation in New Orleans is among the many moments the Chicago rapper-producer took to address the seemingly sensitive topic. Once trying his hand in fashion, he proclaimed that the industry was not only racist, but classist as well.

Now, he’s telling Black people to stop focusing on racism and that he would’ve voted for Donald Trump if, he had voted. But he didn’t.

A full 16-minute rant transcribed by Pitchfork reveals West’s logic behind wanting President-elect Trump as commander in chief, opposed to Hillary Clinton. This all in spite of West donating thousands of dollars to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee over the past two years, including $2,000 last year.

On Voting For Donald Trump

Kanye created a stir when footage of him claiming that he’d vote for Donald Trump, had he actually voted, surfaced during a Saint Pablo Tour stop in San Jose, California.

“Well, ‘Ye, how you gonna expect people to vote for you if you ain’t even vote? I’m concerned not about the idea of being president or the actual job of it. I’m concerned about putting our concept of how to do the job in a new way. And if no one will do it in that way I will take position in 2020 and do it myself. ‘Aw you ain’t gonna get it now because of what you just said.’ It was proof that it didn’t matter what nobody just said! It doesn’t matter!”

Black Lives STILL Matter

West further defends his choice to want Trump in power and also says that his views on social issues haven’t changed.

“That don’t mean that I don’t think that Black Lives Matter. That don’t mean I don’t think that I’m a believer in women’s rights. That don’t mean I don’t believe in gay marriage. That don’t mean that I don’t believe in these things because that was the guy I would’ve voted for.”

Express Your Opinion

The self-proclaimed genius, who also calls Trump a genius for his run, celebrates anyone willing to express their opinion. Even if it means throwing an object at him during a 16-minute show rant, express yourself.

“Oh shit, you threw something at me. Does something else wanna throw something at me? But, you know what, I got the power to get that guy kicked out, or whatever, roughed up. No. Stay here. What do you believe? That’s your opinion. Express your opinion, bro. Express your opinion. Thank you. That’s a woman right there saying, ‘I love you,’ after I just said that there was things that I liked about Trump’s campaign. That’s not supposed to happen, right? No! That’s not supposed to happen, right? Case in point.”

Kanye For President 2020

‘Ye says he’s not concerned about the historic idea of how a president should do their job and instead is encouraging ideas for ways of how to do the job in a different way. If no one comes through on that front, West promises to run in 2020.

“I don’t say 2020 out of disrespect to our president at all. I’m not saying that, ‘Aw man, that just mean that anybody can win.’ That’s not what I’m saying when I say 2020. I’ll just say I got some ideas about the way that we should connect our ideas. And we should use opposite parties that the Republicans, that the Democrats, that everyone that ran that had an idea that people agreed with should be the collective ideas that are used to run the country.”

Kanye West Says He Would’ve Voted For Trump In The Election

On Thursday night, Kanye West kicked off the second leg of his Saint Pablo Tour in San Jose, California, where he unsurprisingly decided to stop his set to get some political thoughts off his chest, including that he didn’t vote this year, but would’ve voted Trump if he did.

In a long political rant throughout his set, Kanye reportedly talked about doubling down on his presidency run in 2020, changing the education system, repeatedly told the crowd his concerts were safe for both Clinton & Trump supporters, and also revealed that he took a liking to some of Trump’s campaign & debates.

Thanks to twitter user @RaptorJessus, who was there in attendance and Complex for the catch, Kanye reportedly told the crowd that he loved Trumps debate style and is glad Trump inspired racists to reveal themselves. "This is the beginning". "Sometimes you might not get your way in order to learn in the future how to get your way. You might understand what I'm saying but..." Ye stated.

Later, Kanye reportedly stopped his performance of “Jesus Walks” to further talk about how Trump was a genius, and also admitted that his manager Scooter Braun told him not to reveal his Trump support before the election.

The Weeknd Blesses French Montana With $100K Birthday Watch

French Montana recently celebrated his 32nd birthday and the release of his latest audio project, MC4. With friends in high places, the self-proclaimed Macaroni with the Cheese himself was blessed by an expensive birthday gift by his pal The Weeknd.

The Canadian artist gifted French with a diamond-encrusted Patek Philippe watch valued at around $100,000, as reported by TMZ. French and his entourage videotaped the unboxing of the watch, which seemed to really touch the Bad Boy rapper to the core and he embraced The Weeknd who was deeply engaged in a phone call during the entire special moment.

French continued to stunt on his pals as he showed off the watch while a friend zoomed in on the sparkling timepiece by way of a cell phone video camera. With a wide smile and laughs among the crew, French proclaimed he needed to put the watch away while thanking the singer once more for the love.

Kanye West Adds Los Angeles Make-Up Date After Concert Cut Short

Kanye West is making up the November 3rd show he cut short after losing his voice, and he's offering free tickets to Los Angeles fans who didn't get to see him perform a full set.

According to Billboard, Kanye has added a November 20th show at the L.A. Forum to the second leg of the "Saint Pablo" tour. Fans who have not yet received a refund will get a chance to "redeem a special code associated with their ticket and will be issued a new ticket for the event" before tickets are made available to the general public. Kanye has also offered a large number of free tickets to students in inner-city schools and music programs.

The second leg of the "Saint Pablo" tour kicks off tonight. Tickets for the November 20th make-up show will be available to the general public on Friday at www.livenation.com.

These Three Yeezy Boost 350 V2s Will Reportedly Release Next Week

It's official- three new colorways of Kanye West's Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will be releasing next weekend, just as rumors suggested last month.

The trio of new Yeezy Boosts will be releasing (in limited quantities, as always) next Wednesday, November 23rd for the retail price of $220. All of the upcoming kicks are built on a black primeknit upper but each features a different secondary color on the streak that runs across the shoe, which comes in copper, olive green and red.

Adidas Originals will soon be confirming specific release details for the upcoming Yeezy Boost 350 V2s, but word is already out that reservations will open up on Monday, November 21st.

Drake, Dave Chappelle & Steph Curry Lose It As Magician David Blaine Regurgitates Live Frogs

Hocus pocus merged with Hip __hop last night (November 15), during David Blaine’s Beyond Magic special as the illusionist treated Drake, Dave Chappelle, Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler to a bizarre magic track.

Not one to let a comedic moment pass, Chappelle took a quick jab at rapper Meek Mill ahead of the trick when Blaine told Drake to think of  “a small creature” that could fit in the palm of his hand. “If I drew Meek Mill he’d be like ‘Aw man,'” Chappelle quipped, setting off gales of laughter from the small crowd. Drake eventually picked a frog.

To the confusion and shock of those observing, Blaine then grabbed a champagne glass from a table and proceeded to regurgitate a live frog.

After handing the glass over to a cringing Drake, Blaine went on to regurgitate two more frogs, handing one of the champagne glasses to Chappelle.

Blaine performed a similar trick for Jimmy Fallon and The Roots during his recent appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”

Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi Trolls Ebro On Twitter

Rae Sremmurd and Ebro Darden of Hot 97 have had issues ever since Ebro vehemently opposed Complex's ranking of SremmLife at number 3 on their 2015 year end list. Ebro argued that the album lacked substance, and more or less accused the duo of not writing their own rhymes. In response, members Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee released a 20-minute freestyle on Tim Westwood TV, effectively shutting down Ebro's criticisms about their writing. While many words were exchanged from the two parties thereafter, mainly over the generation gap that seems to separate their tastes, they never really buried the hatchet, and their feud has been reignited on Twitter today. 

It all seems to have started when a Twitter user pointed Ebro towards the fact that Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" had climbed to #1 on the Hot 100, which Darden promptly insisted was solely due to the Mannequin Challenge meme that propelled the single. He also doubled down on his claim that SremmLife wasn't the #3 album of 2015. Not longer after that, Jxmmi began to retaliate.

PARTYNEXTDOOR Admits It’s Easier Writing For Other Artists

While in Charlotte, North Carolina for his Summer’s Over Tour with Jeremih, PARTYNEXTDOOR stopped through Power 98 to talk about writing for Rihanna.

“It was inspiring,” PND said of his time with the superstar. The Mississauga, Ontario native helped write RiRi’s #1 single “Work” and ANTI’s “Sex With Me.” “She let me into her house, literally. It was a working camp, a working environment. She told me a few stories. I interviewed her and then I wrote a few songs for her. I wish could say more but that’s really how it went down.”

PARTYNEXTDOOR, who released his P3 album this summer, then analyzed the different processes of writing for others versus for himself and shares which is easier compared to what he prefers.

“I’d say it’s easier to write for other people than to write for myself,” he said. “I can go into imagination with other people. For myself, it’s more of like, I’ve got admit it and I gotta tell the truth and nothing but the truth because I can’t hide that. It’s easier to write for other people. I prefer writing for myself because I like the challenge.”

Houston Rapper Mr. 3-2 Killed In Gas Station Shooting

Houston, TX – Last week, the Hip __hop community was left to mourn the death of yet another musician.

According to Houston’s ABC 13, Houston lyricist Mr. 3-2 (born Christopher Barriere) died after being shot in the head at a Houston gas station overnight on Thursday (November 10). He was 44.

Authorities revealed that the four men involved in the encounter, including the shooter, all knew one another.

After shooting the first victim in the back of the head, the suspect reportedly drove off and returned to the gas station moments later. Upon returning, he opened fire again, shooting a second victim and injuring others at the gas station who were caught in the gunfire.

“Unfortunately the shot gun blast, not all the pellets hit its intended target and continued past and struck multiple other targets including another witness who was shot in the leg,” HPD Sgt. Michael Arrington said, according to ABC 13.

Well-known in the Houston Hip Hop community, Mr. 3-2 was a member of The Convicts (alongside Big Mike) and Screwed Up Click, and had worked with the likes of UGK, 8Ball & MJG, Scarface and Snoop Dogg.

A number of rappers, including Snoop Dogg, turned to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to Mr. 3-2.

“Rest well. O. G. He the one who told me we don’t love dem hoes in 1991. Damn cuz Convicts. Lord. 32,” Snoop Dogg wrote in an Instagram caption.

RiFF RAFF Says He Would Perform At Trump's Inauguration For $50,000

RiFF RAFF apparently has no problem performing at Trump's inauguration, as long as he gets a check out of it. The rapper was asked about whether he would entertain the idea of performing at a Trump event by TMZ, and rather than denying the President-elect his support, the rapper seemed open to the idea.

“Well, I love money. And I’m in America. And I was born in America. And I love money. So why wouldn’t I?” he told the reporter, suggesting that he would perform for $50,000. "I’ve had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes, close to a million dollars in taxes myself. On the bright side, somebody told me that Donald Trump is going to lower the taxes from 40-something percent to 15 percent. That means 300,000 to 400,000 in my bank account personally. That’s a Lambo a year, money that I’ve been giving away. Whoever it is, I don’t care if it’s pack of Starbursts that’s running for President."

Judging by hip-hop's overall condemnation of Trump, there aren't too many others that would put a price on aligning themselves with the President-elect. However, we wouldn't mind seeing YG and Nipsey Hussle perform "Fuck Donald Trump" in protest of the inauguration.

Hip Hop Single Sales: The Weeknd, Zay Hilfigerrr & Drake

New York City, NY – This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, Drake’s “Two Birds, One Stone” debuts at #7, selling 22,467 units during its opening week. Elsewhere, Young M.A.’s “OOOUUU” falls out of the Top 10 despite a slight increase in sales and lastly, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” re-emerges on the charts, coming in at #8.

The Weeknd Remains At #1

The Weeknd’s single “Starboy” remains at #1 this week, selling 69,635 units during the seven days leading to November 3. The cut, which features Daft Punk, has now sold 520,425 units since debuting on the charts seven weeks ago.

Drake’s “Fake Love” drops one place to #3 this week following a 25% dip in sales. The cut, which is set to appear on Drake’s More Life, has sold a total of 101,159 units since debuting on the charts two weeks ago.

Blac Chyna Shares Picture Of Her Breastfeeding Newborn Dream Kardashian

On Thursday (Nov. 10), Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian gave birth to their first child together, a baby girl they have named Dream Renee Kardashian. On the same day, Rob posted pictures of Dream on his Instagram page and wrote about how thankful he was for his firstborn. Now the couple has given their newborn her own Instagram page. The three-day-old baby already has over 380,000 followers. The first post shared to Dream's page was a repost of one of Rob's pictures, and the second one, posted yesterday, is a photo of Dream breastfeeding from her mother. "It's bonding time with mommy!" reads the caption. 

Though there's absolutely nothing shameful about a mother nursing her newborn daughter, we're obligated to provide a NSFW warning due to the entirety of Chyna's left breast being shown in the picture.

Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith Blames Ab-Soul & MixedByAli For Album Delay AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

(AllHipHop News) Ab-Soul has not been afraid to voice his thoughts when it comes to delays in his music being released and the relationship with his label.

Now his Top Dawg Entertainment boss is putting the lateness of Soul’s next album on the artist and the label’s in-house engineer.

“[Ab-Soul and Derek “MixedByAli” Ali] holding up his album. I’m done takin the blame… they need 2 get da mixes right.. that’s the hold up. Get at them,” wrote Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith on Twitter.

A follow-up tweet read, “[Ab-Soul and MixedByAli,] I just told my bosses (the fans) what the hold up is. Now I’m about 2 put my foot down. Have it done when I get back.”

Ab-Soul was set to drop his fourth studio album, currently titled DWTW, before the end of the year.

The California representative’s last LP was 2014’s These Days…
