It's a good day when Marvel releases a new batch of their hip __hop variant album covers. After releasing five covers two weeks ago, they released five more today, including one for one of the best underground rap albums ever, Blackalicious' Blazing Arrow.

Record Store Day is prepping for a big Black Friday this year the day after Thanksgiving (November 25). In addition to the Texas-shaped UGK vinyl, the program has organized vinyl releases from all spheres of rap including D.R.A.M., Lil Yachty, The Geto Boys and Run-D.M.C.
The Virginia rapper’s chart-topping “Broccoli” single will be available as a 7″ picture disc and his co-MC on the track, Lil Yachty, will get his Lil Boat mixtape released as an LP.
On the other end of the spectrum, for those old heads, The Geto Boys will be honored with a 12″ vinyl of “Mind Playing Tricks” released through Rap-A-Lot and Run-D.M.C.’s “Christmas in Hollis” will also be available as a limited edition vinyl.

The OVO leader has been catching some heat from rap fans for his song “Two Birds, One Stone” which many people believe contains subliminal disses directed at Kid Cudi and Pusha T.
Some Instagram users expressed their disappointment or criticism for Drake’s record on Instagram.
Normally, Drizzy does not respond, but the Toronto rhymer decided he needed to address a couple of fans that left comments about him on IG.
One user took issue with Drake dissing Cudi.
“Used to have a little respect left for you after finding out you have a ghostwrite, but dissing Kid Cudi is going too far. F-ck you, man,” wrote someone using the handle @nohakelly.
Drake replied, “man needs to stop mentioning my name when they get geeked [okay] supposed to be all love out here word to my bro Pablo [Kanye West].
Another user named @picklebandali posted, “Pusha is going to wax you.”
Drake fired back with, “they know how I’m rockin.”
DJ Akademiks captured Champagne Papi’s responses and uploaded them to his own Instagram page.
These online interactions came after Twitter users and editorial writers slammed Drake for taking shots at Kid Cudi for the Cleveland performer being in rehab for depression and suicidal urges.

The New York emcee was a guest on Sway In The Morning, and Pap let it be known he is not afraid to go to battle against Kevin Hart aka the rapper Chocolate Droppa.
“Chocolate Drop, I’m looking for you,” declared Papoose.
Sway even suggested the two face off on his show.
The Chocolate Droppa persona grabbed a lot of attention for his Cypher performance during the BET Hip __hop Awards.
According to Pap, the other rhymer in that session came out the clear winner.
“Lil Wayne kicked his ass too,” stated the star of Love & Hip Hop.
(AllHipHop News) The family of Phife Dawg will gather in Queens, New York next month (November) when a corner of Linden Boulevard which will be renamed “Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor Way.”
The portion of Linden Boulevard at 192 was made famous on A Tribe Called Quest’s hit single and video “Check the Rhime.”
Council Member Daneek Miller will be on hand for the ceremonies after helping Phife’s wife Deisha Head Taylor get the street named after Phife.
“The thought of having Linden Boulevard at 192, renamed to Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor is indescribable,” Deisha Head Taylor told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “This is a perfect representation of who Malik was, and what Queens meant to him. Whenever he mentioned Queens, Linden Boulevard at 192, was a focal point of reference, so I am certain he would be pleased with having it renamed in his honor. We are extremely grateful for those who were part of the entire process; from the initial effort to the signing of the bill, this historical moment means so much to his family, friends, and fans.”
Phife’s family has linked up with Teespring to create a unique t-shirt that will be available for a limited time here.

The renaming ceremony will take place on Linden Boulevard at 192nd Street in the St. Albans neighborhood of Queens on Saturday, November 19th at 1:00pm EST, just one day before Phife’s birthday
