50 Cent Hypes Chris Brown & Soulja Boy Boxing Match; Wants Mayweather Promotions To Endorse It

Like most of us watching from the sidelines, 50 Cent wants to see Chris Brown & Soulja Boy face off in the boxing ring. But rather than sitting back and waiting to see what happens, Fif is trying to take action into his own hands & orchestrate the match. Unless, he’s just trolling his followers like he’s known to do, but it appears he’s eager to get some money for team Breezy.

On Wednesday, Fif took to his IG to share a couple clips of him talking about all the money that could be made from the possible boxing match, as well as having Mayweather Promotions endorse it all.

“Tell Soulja I said stop apologizing,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. “Get the Draco out build up the hype for the fight. #putthemoneyonthewood I’m covering the bet for every set. LMAO.”

Fif made it clear he had his $100K on Chris, while he thought Floyd would bet on Soulja Boy since there could be some ill feelings between him & Breezy after sleeping with the same women in the past.

“Call Floyd [Mayweather] and tell him specifically I said, ‘bet 100,000.’ I’ll bet 100,000 on Chris, he can bet 100,000 on Soulja Boy. Floyd did some shit when Chris was on the phone with a girl, so he’ll probably be feeling a little funny because Chris probably fucked some of the same bitches he fucked and all kinds of shit like that.”

Later, Fif again hopped back on IG and said Mayweather Promotions was game to promote the fight. “BIG MONEY CHAMP said he will take the bet. Mayweather promotions is gonna promote the fight. This is the shut up, or put the money up challenge.”

Funny enough, it appears Chris too still wants the fight to happen as he jumped in the comment section of 50’s post, saying he would buy a yacht with the money he'd win. “50.. make sure these niggas get our money right!” Brown wrote. “WE ONE BUY A YAGHT AFTER THIS,” Chris commented.

Tomi Lahren Attempts To Shade Wale & Fails

Political commentator Tomi Lahren is making headlines in Hip __hop again, this time for calling Wale out for dissing her on his new song, “Smile,” and pronouncing her name wrong.

Then she tries to come back at him by calling him “Whale.” The insult is at least a few years played out, so the Twitter crowd proceeded to clown Tomi for her lukewarm attempt.

Soulja Boy Almost Throws Hands While Showing Off His Hood Cred On Instagram Live

Soulja Boy took his Instagram followers on a live tour of Compton Tuesday night, with the intention of showing off how well-protected he is in light of his ongoing issues with Chris Brown, and for a second, it looked like the stunt was about to backfire on him.

Soulja filmed himself roaming the streets with an assortment of locals he describes as Fruit Town Piru members, talking tough about catching fades at the top of his lungs as his entourage backs him up.

“They say Soulja ain’t from the hood,” Soulja shouts as he throws his arm around one guy, who throws it right back while looking visibly annoyed. Then the phone drops, there’s some commotion, and someone picks it up and ends the recording.

The man in the video with Soulja appears to be the same one from a video Chris Brown shared previously, calling out Soulja for not being from the hood while surrounded by gun-wielding goons.

It was at that moment that the internet exploded with speculation that Soulja had just been jumped and had his phone stolen.

Several rappers (and pretty much every rap fan on social media) reacted to the clip, including current nemesis Chris Brown, Waka Flocka Flame and Lil Durk, who did a not-so-dramatic reenactment of the scene.

This whole Chris Brown/Soulja Boy beef kicked off after the “Crank That” rapper commented on a photo of Brown’s ex Karrueche on Monday. It’s been raging pretty much non-stop ever since.

Sources Reportedly Believe Drake & J. Lo’s Relationship Is Simply A Publicity Stunt

Well here’s an interesting turn of events regarding “Draylo.” According to report made by Page Six, a close source believes that Drake & J. Lo have been hanging out lately simply as a marketing ploy to promote their upcoming duet.

“This relationship is fake, it is just a publicity stunt to publicize their record together,” the source told Page Six. “If Jennifer and Drake were really dating, they’d be way more private about it.”

The source also drew attention to how weird it was for Drake to move on so quickly from Rihanna too. “Doesn’t Drake realize that it looks weird to declare his love for RiRi at the MTV awards, then start flaunting his chemistry with J.Lo a few months later?,” the source asked.

The report shouldn’t be all too surprising as the duo’s romance has been questioned from the jump, especially after footage surfaced last week of the two kissing in what is believed to be an upcoming music video, but who knows.

While Mariah Carey’s New Year’s Eve didn’t go exactly as planned, plenty of celebrities, especially in the realm of Hip Hop, seemed to have a better go of it.  Skillz and Uncle Murda both dropped their own versions of the 2016 “Rap Up” just ahead of New Year’s Eve, but a quick look on social media shows that Hip Hop stars far and wide brought in 2017 in a variety of other ways.

Nicki Minaj was the guest of honor at Club E11VEN in Miami as a host and performer. No sign of Meek Mill, who was across town at Club Dream. More on that in a bit.
