Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Ty Dolla $ign To Collaborate

This is something you don’t see very often: Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Ty Dolla $ign working together on music.
That is exactly what is happening, according to a new interview with Ty Dolla $ign.

“Me, Rihanna, ‘Ye and Paul [Mc Cartney] got a song about to drop as well,” Dolla revealed in an interview with Billboard. “Yeah. It’s gonna drop soon. I heard they shot the video recently. I don’t know what the final title is, but I know it’s crazy so just be looking out for [it].”

Kanye and the legendary Beatle recently released “Only One.”

Girlfriend Of John Crawford Killed In Car Crash

In a sad turn of events, the girlfriend of Ohio man John Crawford, who was killed while holding a toy gun inside of Walmart, was killed in a car accident on New Years Day.

Tasha Thomas, 26, was identified by the Montgomery County Coroner’s office via records obtained from Crawford’s death in August. Police were heavily criticized for intensely interrogating Thomas directly after the shooting.

Authorities advise that Thomas was traveling at a high speed in a car driven by Frederick Bailey, 30. Both were ejected from the car in an accident that has now been declared a homicide.

Birdman’s Miami Condo Set To Be Foreclosed

Lil’ Wayne isn’t the only one that wants to cut ties with Birdman.

The Ivy Condo Association, who own the Cash Money CEO’s Miami condo, reportedly filed court documents asking for the no.1 stunna’s home to be foreclosed right before Christmas. Birdman has allegedly failed to pay $12,500 in unpaid fees and has written a slew of bounced checks to the association, which led to the condo board filing a lien on his condo back in November.

Birdman is becoming less of a stranger to cash money woes. He reportedly also has a $1.9 million federal tax lien and a $1 million lien from a construction company.

Future Will Release Joint Mixtape ‘Beast Mode’ With Producer Zaytoven

The year 2015 will be the year of joint albums for Future. Mike WiLL Made It recently announced that he and the Honest rapper would be dropping a mixtape together called Ape Shit but Future will be dropping another collaborative project before that one.

Producer Zaytoven, who has also worked with Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy, Usher and Migos. announced that he and Future would be teaming up for a joint project entitled Beast Mode, which will drop Jan. 15th.

The two released their new single “Real Sisters” this week as a teaser of what is to come on their upcoming project. Lend your ear below.

Vinyl Sales Hit All-Time High In 2014

Though album sales have been declining, vinyl sales have been on the rise. For the past seven years, the sales of vinyl have been increasing and in 2014 sales hit another milestone. According to Billboard, 2014 vinyl sales grew by 52 percent to 9.2 million copies, which is a boost from from the 6.1 million sold in 2013. There were 94 albums that sold at least 10,000 copies in vinyl form in 2014, significantly up from 46 albums in 2013.

Rock artist Jack White sold the most vinyls this year with 40,000 copies sold when his album, Lazaretto, debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and on their Vinyl Albums Chart. Out of the 325,000 copies of his album that were sold, 87,000 of those were vinyl.

While 57 percent of consumers bought their vinyl from independent stores, 36 percent chose non-traditional sellers like Urban Outfitters, Hot Topic and Amazon.

As far as top selling vinyls in hip-hop, best sellers on Amazon include Run the Jewel’s Run The Jewels 2, Childish Gambino’s Because The Internet, Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city and Dr. Dre’s The Chronic.
