(AllHipHop News) Rapper 2 Chainz made an appearance yesterday (October 30) in his hometown of Atlanta, in an attempt to encourage young voters to go the polls for the upcoming presidential election.

The Atlanta rapper linked up with Rep. John Lewis at a polling station/rally with a number of other influential community members.

The rapper addressed the crowd and the urgent need to go vote on November 8.

“If we don’t vote, we don’t have a reason to complain,” 2 Chainz said. “It is important for me to come out and use my platform to try to influence the millennials. Actions speak louder than words, and it’s got to start somewhere.”

Rep. John Lewis blasted Donald Trump, and bristled at the thought of the billionaire becoming President of the United States.

“Our country will not be the same,” Lewis said in an interview during the event. “Donald Trump is mean spirited. And he will take us back to another place, another time.”

Kanye West Credited As Co-Writer On Drake’s Kid Cudi Diss Track AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West is listed as a co-writer on Drake’s controversial track which disses Kid Cudi.

According to credits on streaming service Tidal, Kanye is listed as a writer and co-producer of the Canadian star’s song “Two Birds, One Stone,” in which he describes Cudi’s depression a “phase”.

“My numbers are out of the world, no wonder they got me feeling so alienated/You were the man on the moon, now you go through your phases/Live for the angry and famous,” raps Drake in the track.

But in a new curve ball, it has been revealed that Kanye is listed alongside Drake and frequent collaborator Noah “40” Shebib as a co-composer and co-lyricist on the tune.

His involvement is especially interesting given his most recent support for his former GOOD Music label colleague and protege.

Last month, Kanye called Cudi “the most influential artist of the last 10 years.”

More recently, he asked his fans to sing “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1” in the singer’s honor during a recent stop on his Saint Pablo tour.

However, even with the credit, it’s yet to be seen how involved he was in the writing process, or if he was even aware of the offending remark.

And it’s possible that Kanye contributed writing and production to “Two Birds, One Stone” before Drake finalized the lyrics.

On Friday, Cudi reportedly took to Twitter on Friday (October 28) to hit back at Drake’s song.

“Say it to face, p###y,” he wrote in a message. “You think it’s a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I’ll be out soon. Promise.”

He later deleted the tweet.

The “Day ‘n’ Nite” rapper checked into rehab earlier this month for “depression and suicidal urges” and told his fans in an emotional Facebook post that he was not at peace.

“It took me awhile to get to this place of commitment, but it is something I have to do for myself, my family, my best friend/daughter and all of you, my fans,” the rapper shared. “I am not at peace. I haven’t been since you’ve known me.”

His rehab admission came just after he implied both Drake and Kanye don’t write their own music.

Soulja Boy Sued For Putting $10,000 Hit On Rival Rapper Skrill Dilly AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

(AllHipHop News) Soulja Boy has been accused of putting out a $10,000 hit on a rival according to a new lawsuit.

Back in August, Soulja Boy became entangled in a feud with rapper Skrill Dilly over his claims of dating Nia Riley.

During their back and forth on social media, Soulja brandished what he later claimed to be a fake gun and threatened to shoot Skrill Dilly or send some “shooters” to his house.

Skrill Dilly’s lawsuit claims that Soulja put a $10,000 bounty on his head and because of the bounty, Skrill has been unable to see his child.

The mother fears for the baby’s safety when the little girl is in the presence of Skrill Dilly.

Skrill Dilly also claims he’s suffered mental distress send the issue and is seeking an undisclosed amount for medical expenses.

In related news, Soulja Boy is still at it with his threats to rappers.

Soulja is currently beefing with rapper Lil Yachty over his alleged relationship with model India Love, who says she isn’t dating either of them.

Soulja has already threatened to slap Lil Yachty, and Yachty has promised to smack Soulja Boy when they cross paths.

Soulja Boy also got into some gun talk with producer Southside of 808 Mafia on social media over the weekend.

(AllHipHop News) Jeezy is responsible for the most celebrated Hip __hop anthem dedicated to Barack Obama.

The CTE leader’s “My President” was played throughout the 2008 presidential campaign.

As Obama prepares to leave the White House in a few months, Jeezy stopped by Sway In The Morning and talked politics.

“We’re all politicians in our own right. Especially for me. I’m gonna speak for the people anytime I get a chance,” said the Atlanta native. “I ain’t never gonna bite my tongue because I come from that.”

Jeezy continued, “They asked the other day, ‘Why you not a Republican? You’re getting money.’ I was like, ‘I never had nothing. I don’t give a f-ck about no taxes.”

In addition, Jeezy reflected on how his albums such as Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, The Recession, Church In These Streets, and Trap or Die 3 influencing listeners to strive to improve their lives.

Sway acknowledged the Southern rap star for not changing his message after gaining fame and wealth.

“I credit that to having real beginnings and being thankful for everything,” responded Jeezy.

He added, “[The people] put me in this position. It’s almost like – not to compare – but we put Barack there. He can’t forget about us.”

LL Cool J Adapting U.K. TV Show “Brotherhood” For American Audience on CBS AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

LL Cool J is developing a version of U.K. TV show “Brotherhood” for America.

The rapper, actor and TV host will be stepping behind the camera to produce the adaptation for the CBS network.

The original series follows two siblings who move in together to raise their 10-year-old brother following the death of their mother.

LL Cool J will work alongside executive producer Michael Borkow, who is best known for his work on “Friends,” “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Mom.”

“Brotherhood,” which is reported to be in early stages of development, marks LL Cool J’s first-ever executive producer credit, and the first scripted series he has worked on as a producer.

He is a producer and host of Spike TV’s contest show “Lip Sync Battle.”

(AllHipHop News) Newcomer 21 Savage placed himself in the middle of the news surrounding the killing of fellow Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh.

21 defended No Plug, the person that admitted he was involved in a shootout which led to the death of Fresh.

In August, Bankroll Fresh’s uncle Shadi Powers spoke with AllHipHop.com about 21 connecting himself to No Plug and his nephew’s situation.

“I don’t even know why 21 Savage is allowing himself to be put in this equation,” said Powers. “To be honest, he’s a young rapper that don’t come from the side of town where No Plug comes from.”

Now, Fresh’s cousin Street Money Boochie has used his Twitter feed to address 21 as well.

Boochie’s tweets never included the name “21 Savage “but each post does reference “Savage.”

“The Gutta” rhymer also adds “Savage Mode” in a tweet which is the name of 21’s recent project with producer Metro Boomin.

Is Big Sean Set To Debut New Music On ‘The Tonight Show’? AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

The G.O.O.D. Music representative is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon tonight (October 31).

Big Sean was also a guest on the late night program in April 2015.

At the time, the “Talk Show” spitter played a game of Pictionary with Fallon, LL Cool J, and Rose Byrne.

Southside Goes After Soulja Boy On Lil Yachty's Behalf

Leading Atlanta producer Southside, aka Young Sizzle, has gotten himself involved in the intensifying conflict between Lil Yachty and Soulja Boy. In fact, Southside and Soulja Boy are now pitted against one another. In fact, even though Boat performed a Soulja Boy diss track at a Texas festival earlier today, Southside is now far more enraged than Yachty has been since the beef began last night. He's posted a couple of vicious video messages directed at Soulja, showing off his ammunition in the process. 

Southside initially came to Yachty's defense by telling Soulja Boy to back off, writing, "boi u Betta let dat shit rock we really rockin wit dis Atlanta shit Yachty." Soulja then posted a photo of himself FaceTiming with rapper Go Yayo and let Southside know that they were prepared to "smoke." Southside responded with a series of tweets, in which he called Soulja an "Internet thug" who "ain't about none of dat."

Amber Rose Blasts Donald Trump For Feeling Up Women But Says Other Famous Guys Do It Too AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

(AllHipHop News) Amber Rose was a guest on the latest episode of Yahoo’s new series “I Yahoo’d Myself.”

Amber sat down with Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief, Joe Zee and said that she hoped Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would be brought to justice for allegedly groping over 12 women.

The women came forward after a video clip from “Access Hollywood” leaked featuring Donald Trump making lewd comments about women, including his infamous quote about “grabbing” women “by the pussy.”

“I want him to get in trouble for it because I cannot even count how many times a famous guy touched me inappropriately…seriously,” Amber Rose said during the interview. “Imagine this, Donald Trump comes and touches me inappropriately right. I’m a regular ass girl, do I call 911, do I get on twitter and tweet about it?” Amber asked.

According to Amber this type of behavior from Donald Trump and men in the entertainment business is why she labels herself a “slut” and was also the motivation behind her annual “Slutwalk.”

“People not understanding that women are sexual beings as well is the reason why I refer to myself as a slut,” Amber said. “It really just takes away the pain, takes away the bullying we deal with as women.”

Soulja Boy Rips Lil Yachty For Claiming India Love As His Shorty

Soulja Boy took some wind out of Lil Yachty’s sails when he posted a handful of pictures with India Love on Instagram yesterday (October 28). A short beef was set off when both rappers staked their claim over the model. At one point, Soulja called the younger MC a “bozo” and told him to “kill your self homie” then threatened to fight him.

It starts here….

Lil Yachty apparently texted Soulja to ask him why he is sharing the flicks. He even called Love his “shorty” in his plea for the (former?)  Love and Hip __hop star to take down the pics. Soulja Boy threatened with some beef. 

Instead of complying to Lil Yachty’s wishes, Soulja Boy egged him on, posting another India Love pic with a caption full of bait.

When media outlets were starting to report on the beef, Soulja Boy insisted Lil Yachty is no match for him and threatened to make the fight physical.

Then he put the young MC on blast for being a groupie of his. Lil Yachty did gush back in April that he’s been working on Pretty Boy Millionaires 2 with Soulja and Lil B.

Azealia Banks Breaks Down Crying During Interview On The Russell Crowe Incident

Azealia Banks sat down with Access Hollywood to share her version of the events that transpired in Russell Crowe's hotel suite earlier this month. Banks has filed battery charges against Russell Crowe, whom she alleges called her racial slurs, choked her, and spat on her before tossing her out of the room. She broke down crying multiples during her interview with Access Hollywood.

“Every time something like this happens, I'm always like being blamed for like wanting this kind of attention," she said. "Like, who fucking wants to tell someone they got spat on? That's humiliating. I'm just really, really humiliated.” 

Crowe and the rest of guests, including RZA, all claim that Banks was behaving erratically and insulted Crowe's musical taste and threatened to cut the throat of him and a woman in the room before being forcibly removed.

"It just happened so fast," Banks said. She explained that Crowe mocked her career, she fired back. "Everyone was like, 'Oh my god. How dare you!'"

When asked what made Crowe snap, she said, "Who knows? Maybe it was the moonshine? Maybe it was the rejection? Maybe it was the jokes?"

She started crying again once the subject of the missing surveillance tapes arose.

"And then there's no tape. You call the hotel, like 'where is the fucking tape?," she said. "Like, where's the tape?' And they're just like, 'oh, there's no cameras in that hallway. It's like, how can there not be no cameras in that hallway? You're full of shit."

She also claimed that RZA told her, "Don't say anything." 

They also discussed the lack of surveillance tapes of the events, and her feelings on the aftermath of the claims. She also alleged that RZA's reaction to the whole thing was, "Don't say anything."

In the week after the incident, RZA publicly denied Banks' claims and called her an "obnoxious erratic individual."

(AllHipHop News) The concierge at the exclusive Paris hotel where Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint insists the masked thieves were there for cash, not the reality TV star’s jewellery and electronics.

Kanye West’s wife was bound and gagged as the thugs ransacked her suite and made off with millions of dollars worth of gems and Kim’s cellphones, but in a new interview with U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, the man who watched the heist go down has revealed the robbers were not there for jewellery.

Ever since news of the ordeal broke, many critics have accused Kardashian of bringing the drama upon herself by flaunting the necklaces and rings she had with her in France on social media, but the concierge’s latest claims suggest the thieves weren’t interested in the gems Kim had showed off in Snapchat pictures.

The hotel staffer, known as Abdulrahman, reveals he was handcuffed and helpless throughout the ordeal, and he recalls his famous guest was caught off guard as the masked men, dressed as cops stormed her suite on October 3.

“When she saw police, because they were dressed like police, she didn’t understand for a few seconds,” he tells ET.

“He (one of the robbers) said, ‘I don’t need phones’ in French, (but) he doesn’t understand English, and also she didn’t understand French, and the guy was asking for money, money, money. She believed that they were there for her ring.

“She showed her hand… There is no ring, and the guy is like, ‘Where is the ring?’ At that moment she gave him her ring – it was on a table close to the floor… and he put it in his pocket.”

But, according to the concierge, he kept asking for money before realizing Kim couldn’t understand his demands.

Abdulrahman claims he had to translate for the robbers, telling them she didn’t have much cash.

“They weren’t there for jewels at first, they were there for money,” he adds. “He (robber) put the jewels in his (backpack) and he left the bag open. That is why he lost some jewels and the gold in the hotel (during his escape).”

The hotel employee’s full ET interview will air tonight (October 27).

Meanwhile, Paris police officials and crime experts are still trying to track down the five men responsible for the armed robbery.

The controversial pharmaceutical executive announced the Wu’s Once Upon A Time In Shaolin would be released if the American public elects Donald Trump as the next President of the United States.

Shkreli also claimed he has unheard music by rock bands Nirvana and the Beatles that would be released if Trump wins.

“If Trump wins, my entire unreleased music collection, including unheard Nirvana, Beatles, and of course, Wu-Tang, comes out, for free,” posted Shkreli.

At the moment, Trump is behind his main opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, in several swing state polls which makes it hard for the Republican candidate to win 270 electoral college votes.

Many Wu fans were not pleased Shkreli was able to buy Once Upon A Time, because he was being referred to as the “most hated man in America” for raising the price of an anti-HIV drug over 5000%.

Wu-Tang’s RZA responded to the criticism over the purchase.

“He bought it. He can do what he wants,” said RZA. “If the greatest man in the world was the one who wanted to possess it, it would have been his objective. If my enemy came to an auction and said, ‘I want that picture of RZA just to throw darts at it.’ It’s being auctioned. So I could never discriminate who appreciates art.”

In addition, Shkreli later got into a public feud with Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah.

Rob Kardashian Investigated For Jealous Threats Related To Blac Chyna Being Extorted AllHipHop.com Pix AHH Archives

(AllHipHop News) Blac Chyna insists a leaked photo featuring herself kissing actor/singer Pilot Jones is part of an extortion scheme.

The image, which emerged online earlier this week, has caused a lot of problems for the pregnant glamor model and her fiance Rob Kardashian.

Sources told TMZ on Thursday that Rob is under criminal investigation for allegedly threatening Pilot during a jealous rage, and all the drama surrounding the alleged infidelity has hit headlines just days before Blac is due to give birth to their first child together.

But now, hours after reports emerged suggesting Rob is the subject of a Los Angeles Police Department probe, Blac has posted photos of text conversations, an email and other correspondence she had with Pilot, real name Joseph C. Jones, on her Instagram account, claiming all rumors suggesting she and the actor were once lovers are completely false.

“Ok let’s state facts!!!” she wrote in a caption. “I been quiet for too long!!! Let me start off by saying this young man Is ‘GAY’!!!”

Blac, real name Angela White, went on to explain the image of herself kissing Pilot was all a ploy.

“The only reason we took those pictures other than me trying to be a good friend was so he could send it to his boyfriend to make him like jealous & say that he’s going back to girls!” she declares. “Mind you at the time I THOUGHT THIS WAS MY FRIEND and I didn’t see a problem with it!!! This was over two years ago people!!! I never had sex with him! NEVER EVER! Nothing ever happened past these pics.”

Blac believes the picture scandal is a set up to extort her, claiming Pilot wanted her to pay him for her emoji app initiative, ChyMoji, even though he had nothing to do with the project. She also accused the up-and-coming singer of trying to land some press ahead of a song release, writing:

“But now I understand why you put these pictures out! Ohhh because you have a song with Trina you trying to get your fking name popping?!? Or are you mad at the fact that I did my Chymoji app without you dumba… Your greedy a** wanted a cut of something that wasn’t yours and u came at my lawyer asking for crazy money!!!”

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill has been promising his DC4 project for a while.

A lot of observers have been waiting to see what the Philadelphia rhymer brings on his first full body of work since the highly publicized battle with Drake.

There is now a lot of speculation that DC4 will arrive this week.

According to internet sleuths, Meek is returning with new music on Friday, October 28.

An alleged tracklist and cover art are even circulating online.

Meek has not confirmed the project is dropping tomorrow.

However, there have been a few hints revealed over the last 24 hours that DC4 is not far from hitting the net.

Fellow Maybach Music Group member and regular Meek Mill musical partner Tracy T recently tweeted, “DC4 so hard!!!”

MMG associate DJ Sam Sneak posted on Twitter, “Be very very ready. DC4.”

Meek’s official deejay DJ Bran wrote, “The wait is almost over.”

Then there is the fact Meek deactivated then reactivated his Instagram page over the last week which could be a sign he is preparing to release something in the near future.

Also, there have been reports DC4 will be a commercial release and not a free mixtape.

Kevin Gates Sentenced To 6 Months In Jail For Kicking Female Fan

Polk County, FL – A Florida judge and jury of six women had no sympathy for Kevin Gates’ claims of self-defense in the case of his highly publicized incident where he kicked a female concertgoers chest like it was made of pigskin and he needed the game-winning goal.

The 30-year-old rapper, who hails from Baton Rouge, already had his Florida stand-your-ground plea rejected and was sentenced to 180 days in jail following a one-day trial in Polk County, FL earlier today, October 26, WFLA reports.

On August 15, 2015, Gates headlined a concert at Club Rumor in Lakeland, FL when then 18-year-old Miranda Dixon pulled on his leg as he performed and the rap star’s reaction was swift and fierce. The story made national news after the girl’s mother told local news outlets that she wanted to see her daughter’s assailant persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Gates had hired well-known defense attorney Jose Baez to immediately go on the offensive towards the victim, telling the jury her accounts weren’t credible and she “lied” to the jury, for she had originally told investigators her intuition said consequences would follow for touching him as he rocked the mic.

“You’re aware that if you’re not injured, there’s no [settlement] money,” Baez said to which Dixon replied, “yes.”

But that wasn’t enough for the defense, especially after Club Rumor head of security, Joe Hailey testified in court that Gates had plenty of room to back up to prevent from being touched.

Immediately after being found guilty of battery, Gates was sentenced, fingerprinted and hauled away to Polk County Jail to begin his time. On the bright side, he will be credited for any time served, and fines and court costs.

(AllHipHop News) Ariana Grande’s boyfriend Mac Miller credits music producer Rick Rubin for helping him get sober last year.

The Blue Slide Park rapper, real name Malcolm McCormick, began struggling with substance abuse issues several years ago and was arrested for possession of marijuana in 2011.

However, after working with the legendary producer last year, the 24-year-old took some of the lessons Rick taught him and applied them to his life.

“(He taught me to) just (be) still, and how important it is to be able to quiet your mind and be honest with yourself,” he tells Rolling Stone. “I also gained a lot of confidence because I played him music I was working on – some weird s**t that never came out – and he was like, ‘I’ve never heard anything like this’. I was so geeked about that.”

And being sober has helped him embrace routine in his life.

“This planet has a certain gravity, man – it rises in the morning, it sets at night, and I never really followed that,” he says. “But now I go to sleep at night and wake up in the day, and that’s been a beautiful balance in my life. Along with not feeling like s##t.”

His sobriety has also affected the way he records music. Miller explains before he would try his hardest to complete a song even if he was having a difficult time with it, but now he is less stringent about his process.

“I’m not forcing anything,” he continues. “I used to never be able to walk away from a song unfinished, so I’d stay up for days at a time working on one song. And my voice is a lot more of an instrument now, and I just sound more awake.”
