Suge Knight’s Lawyer Calls “Friend” Death “A Tragic Accident”

Authorities are saying that Suge Knight’s truck ran into a crowd of people, killing his own friend, in a hit-and-run that has him a wanted man by police.

The lawyer of the former Death Row mogul deemed the fatal incident a “tragic accident,” per a report from NBC News.

The situation is still under investigation and Suge has yet to turn himself in to authorities. Police also seek to determine if the matter was an accident or a homicide.

The crash happened on West Rosecrans Avenue in Compton about 2:55 p.m. Pacific Time at a video shoot for The Game. The song in question was allegedly called “Straight Outta Compton,” which featured Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. The Game posted a picture with the two N.W.A. alum earlier in the day.

A second person was injured with non-life threatening wounds.

According to his lawyer, Suge Knight is arranging the terms of his surrender to authorities.

Kanye West and Paul McCartney To Co-Produce Whole New Album

It looks like Kanye West could be putting out his most risky album with a full-fledged collaboration with famed Beatle Paul McCartney.

The conjecture was delivered from a long-time friend of Kanye named Ibn Jasper.

Jasper also serves as Yeezy’s barber.

He claims on social media that the rapper will completely collaborate with the legendary rocker on the new album.

Ibn also revealed that the song “FourFiveSeconds” – a Kanye/Rihanna/McCartney joint effort would appear on both Roc Nation artists’ respective albums.

This isn’t the first time Kanye has worked with non-Hip-Hop artists.

He worked with Jon Brion for Late Registration and Graduation, and later Mike Dean on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

G.O.O.D. Music Announces Celebration In Honor Of 3 Grammy Nominations

After nabbing 3 Grammy nominations, label G.O.O.D. Music has decided to celebrate big in Los Angeles, as they host a private affair on February 8 which will feature a mansion brunch in Beverly Hills, an invitation only Grammy watch event and an after party with performances from fellow nominees Antonique Smith, Sonna Rele and Malik Yusef (who has been nominated again after winning 5 out of 15 previous nominations.)

The master songwriter has represented G.O.O.D. Music well, making an appearance on the title rack of Common’s Grammy nominated album Nobody’s Smiling and dropping his well received his G.O.O.D. Morning G.O.O.D. Night [Deconstructed] mixtape.

He also released an official soundtrack to the global climate change movement titled Home, which features artists including Ne-Yo, Common, Antonique Smith, Elle Varner, Candice Glover, Raheem DeVaughn, Ryan McDermott, and more. Presented in part by Yusef’s creation The Private Plane, they were joined by the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Hip Hop Caucus and the People’s Climate Music Coalition to present the celebration.

“We just want to continue building up the momentum. Grammy’s is always a good time of year to show the world what you’ve been working on,” said Yusef.

Gabrielle Union Discusses Her Pre-Nup, “Being Mary Jane” & More

Currently preparing for the return of her BET hit Being Mary Jane, actress Gabrielle Union sat down with Yahoo Style to discuss her fall wedding to Dwayne Wade, their prenuptial agreement, race relations and more. Take a look at some excerpts below or read the interview in full here.

On the ongoing struggle with race relations:

There’s a bit of a gap between what I really want to say and what I know is responsible to say. The general lack of compassion for your fellow man is really frustrating. I think what the protesters are saying, or at least some of them, is it’s not just about police brutality. It’s about a widespread systematic crippling of some people in this country by birthright, and no one’s acknowledging it. There may be a power shakeup if you’re really going to do something about it. A lot of people aren’t interested in that. They say, “It’s not that bad. We have Barack Obama. We’re good.” Or, “You’re not getting lynched.” They’re not acknowledging the institutional racism that impacts daily lives.”

The motive behind her requesting a pre-nup:

“For women in Hollywood, when they’re coupling, everything is about the brand. Everything is about latching on to a rising star, so you can kick your heels up. That’s never been my story, ever. I make sure to let people know all of the hard work that’s gone into my career. I want people to know the work that it took to get through UCLA, that I had student loans and worked. I was eating Top Ramen and lived well below my means. Now that it’s time to get married to a man who happens to play basketball and has done well for himself, I want to make it clear that I have in no way hitched my wagon to his star. I have my own wagon and star.”

On whether her “Being Mary Jane” character is a home wrecker:

“I think initially he is a home wrecker. He was dishonest. He started a relationship under false pretenses [by not telling her he was married], but I think she became a bit morally bankrupt on the way. That narrative is important to tell, which is why I was all for the story line. It shows what happens and all of the people who are affected in an affair. I look at it as a morality tale.”

Raekwon and Ghostface To Announce “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx” Documentary

We revealed a few days ago that Rae and Ghost would have a major announcement at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Later tonight, in Salt Lake City, UT, the duo will reveal that they will release a documentary on the 20th Anniversary of the seminal album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. While the opus is regarded as a solo album for Raekwon, the documentary is a decidedly joint effort with Ghostface Killah.

The “Purple Carpet” screening will offer some form of preview, even though most of the details are shrouded in mystery.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is widely regarded as one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums ever recorded.

Both, Rae and Ghost will be present so AHH will give you details as they emerge.

Alexandra Shipp To Play Storm In ‘X-Men Apocalypse’

Alexandra Shipp was slammed after she portrayed the late Aaliyah in the Lifetime biopic, Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B. The lukewarm response to the movie didn’t stop the movie offers from rolling in though.

The former Disney star has been snagged to play Storm in the upcoming X-Men installment, X-Men: Apocalypse, which hits theaters May 27, 2016. The film’s director Bryan Singer took to his Twitter to announce the upcoming flick.

Since the airing of her debut film, the 23-year-old has been keeping busy. She has a recurring role on Days of Our Lives and is playing Ice Cube’s wife in the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, due in theaters in August 2015.

Cosby’s TV Son Malcolm Jamal Warner Comments On Sexual Allegations

Actor Malcolm Jamal Warner has finally commented on the drama that his TV dad has been going since 35 women accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

Warner, who was on “The Cosby Show” since its inception in the 80’s, could not speak directly to the allegations, but said he considered Cosby a “friend and mentor.”

“He’s one of my mentors, and he’s been very influential and played a big role in my life as a friend and mentor,” Warner told Billboard. “Just as it’s painful to hear any woman talk about sexual assault, whether true or not, it’s just as painful to watch my friend and mentor go through this.

He continued, like Phylicia Rashad before him, to stress the importance of the vast entertainment legacy of his friend.

“I can’t really speak on any of the allegations because obviously, I was not there. The Bill Cosby I know has been great to me and great for a lot of people. What he’s done for comedy and television has been legendary and history-making” Warner said. “What he’s done for the black community and education has been invaluable. That’s the Bill Cosby I know. I can’t speak on the other stuff.”

Rreviously, Rashad had said that she felt there were other forces that were bent on destroying the legacy of “The Cosby Show,” which showed an exceptional view of Black family life.

Another Cosby kid – Keshia Knight Pulliam – said, “Unfortunately, in the court of public opinion, everyone has formed their opinion, but we’re still in America and you’re innocent until proven guilty of any crimes,” she said on the Today show.

Jay Z Support’s NY Gov. Cuomo’s Plan To Halt Police Brutality

Yesterday, Jay Z proclaimed his support of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, as the politician rolled sweeping reforms in his fifth fifth State of the State speech.

Particularly, the governor outlined a 7-point plan to facilitate better relations between police and the communities they serve. The move comes on the controversial death of Eric Garner, the most visible victim of police brutality in the current New York. Garner’s killer, Officer Daniel Pantaleo, was not indicted for murder.

Jay Z, real name Shawn Carter, applauded the move in a statement.

“The criminal justice reform package proposed by Governor Cuomo today is a huge step forward in restoring fairness, protection, sensitivity and accountability for all under our justice system,” the Roc Nation mogul stated. “ I commend Governor Cuomo for his bold leadership in taking this issue head on at this critical time. This package presents comprehensive steps to protect and improve relations amongst all citizens. We cannot be divided, as every single human being matters. Together, we can move forward as a community, with mutual respect for each other and continue to make this great state stronger than ever before.”

In his speech, Cuomo admitted the obvious – there is a problem with police brutality in New York.

“The promise of equal justice is a New York promise and it is an American promise. We are currently in the midst of a national problem where people are questioning our justice system,” Cuomo told an audience in Albany, lightly referencing other acts of police misconduct. “And they’re questioning whether the justice system really is fairness for all. And whether the justice system really is colorblind. And that’s not just New York, it’s a problem all across the country.”
Cuomo called for:

A statewide commission on police and community relations, that includes community leaders and reps from the police as well

The governor will seek to hire more minority officers

The NYPD will seek to buy more equipment, including body cameras to be wore by officers

Cuomo seeks to have police brutality indictments, or lack of, explained by lawyers in closed jury cases

An independent monitor would also have full access to these otherwise sealed grand jury records.

The monitor will likely have the power to recommend the appointment of a special prosecutor if the local DA is unable to get an indictment in police brutality cases in New York.

The plan also would seek to protect 16 and 17-year-olds found guilty of a crime from going into state prisons

Mark Wahlberg Victim Speaks Out On 1986 Assault

Paramount Pictures Pictures Presents The New York Premiere of The "Gambler"

During a school field trip to the beach in 1986, a group of largely black fourth-graders were chased down the street as a group of white teenagers threw rocks and hurled racial slurs at them; one of those teens was none other than actor and former rapper Mark Wahlberg.

Now nearly 30 years later, the former Calvin Klein model and Boogie Nights star is formally asking for a pardon in connection to the 1986 assault, as well as another from 1988 in which two Vietnamese men were beaten during a robbery.

Opinion has been mixed as to if the Transformers actor should be forgiven or if the assaults should remain on his record. He’s openly admitted his past transgressions, using his acting career and later accomplishments to show that he’s a far different person that he was at 15. Filing an application in Massachusetts, he’s formally requesting an unconditional pardon for his prior conviction; having previously served time after assaulting two Vietnamese men in 1988.

Receiving a slap on the wrist, Wahlberg and the other teens were issued civil rights injunctions for the initial attack and threatened with jail if they committed any other similar crimes.

According to Kristyn Atwood, who says she still has scars from the rocks thrown that day,“I don’t think he should get a pardon. I don’t really care who he is.” She added, “It doesn’t make him any exception. If you’re a racist, you’re always going to be a racist. And for him to want to erase it, I just think it’s wrong.”

Mary Belmonte, the teacher who was on the trip that day, “I believe in forgiveness. He was just a young kid, a punk, in the mean streets of Boston. He didn’t do it specifically because he was a bad kid. He was just a follower doing what the other kids were doing.”

Attwood however is not convinced, “It was a hate crime and that’s exactly what should be on his record forever.”

D’ Angelo has been pretty quiet ever since he dropped his third studio album Black Messiah with very short notice. Now, he and his band the Vanguard have booked two high profile performances. It was recently announced that the “Brown Sugar” crooner would be headlining a show at the famous Apollo Theater on Feb. 7th but he isn’t stopping there. D’ Angelo will also be hitting the Saturday Night Live stage later this month. Comedian J.K Simmons will be taking over as the host for the episode as well.

Nas, Chance The Rapper & Mike Tyson To Appear On Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” Album

In his short career, Chance The Rapper has already teamed with Lil Wayne, James Blake, Justin Bieber, and Wale, but his latest collaboration is the most surprising one yet. The 21-year-old Chicago native is set to appear on a track off Madonna’s new album along with former boxing champion Mike Tyson.

The song, titled “Iconic,” is not the only cut from Rebel Heart featuring a Hip Hop artist. Queens legend Nas was tapped for the tune “Veni Vidi Vici.” Nicki Minaj also reunited with the Queen of Pop for the previously released “B***h I’m Madonna.” The superstar performer worked with Kanye West for her 13th studio LP as well.

Madonna’s Rebel Heart is scheduled for release on March 10.

Bobby Brown: “Remembering Whitney Houston”

Despite public opposition from the family of late singer Whitney Houston, actress and friend of the songstress Angela Bassett decided to move forward with the unauthorized biopic that recently ran on Lifetime; which largely focused on the complicated relationship between Houston and former husband Bobby Brown, whose marriage serves as the focal point of the film.

Said Bassett, “If you walk through life and your children walk through life and think it’s all about unicorns and rainbows, or sunsets and sunrises, or stars and cotton candy and are ignorant of pitfalls, then you can fall into one unaware.” She added, “We make choices that affect our future, she made choices that affected her life.”

Speaking candidly about the state of their union, following the film Bobby Brown sat down with Access Hollywood’s own Shaun Robinson to reveal his favorite memories and more during a recent special titled Bobby Brown: Remembering Whitney Houston.

Regarding rumors of infidelity:

“There was infidelity on both sides. Both of us cheated on each other.”

In response to criticism from Cissy Houston:

“I’m sorry for how she feels about me. I am not a bad person. I loved your daughter tremendously. She was my heart, if there was anything more I could have done, trust me, I would’ve done it.”

Being served with divorce papers at a Chinese restaurant:

“I was hurt, I was basically mortified. I was like, ‘Wow, I did not see it coming. She got everything in the divorce.” He added, “Property, jewelry, cars…I left with my sobriety.”

On security snubbing his other children during the funeral:

“It was disrespectful. It was no fault of the family, it was security. So I just kissed the casket and me and my kids, we left.”

Revealing what he will remember the most:

“She has a long list of things she should be remembered for but for the most part, that voice. That voice and that heart.”

Ben & Jerry’s Catches Flack For Support Of “Hands Up Don’t Shoot”

Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream have always been unconventional in their approach to business, but their support of people of color of has set off a firestorm of controversy.

On Facebook, they made the proclamation:

“Our scoop shop managers got to meet THE Ben and Jerry at the annual franchisee/manager retreat! Stay tune to see how our shop will implement Ben’s take on “hands up don’t shoot” campaign to address police brutality and empower children of color.”

Another person, Doug Ryan said he will no longer eat the delicious ice cream any more because of the political statement, which really means don’t kill unarmed citizens.

“Guess I won’t be eating Ben & Jerry ice cream anymore. It’s not even the fact that it’s anti LE it’s the fact that they choose to ignore factual information. So they will fight “police brutality” by wearing a shirt that has a meaning for something that never actually happened?”

“The point of the hands up don’t shoot campaign is that cops shoot first ask questions later It is a stupid campaign and the cops haven’t done anything wrong. Anyone who supports it I have no respect for,” said Robert Osbourne.

Drake’s Dad Is Making Music And Wants A ‘Classy Female Rapper’ To Work With

Drake may not be looking for new female emcees to collaborate with, but his dad is.

Dennis Graham was a musician back in the 1960’s and is now looking to get back in the studio. Instead of using his son’s Rolodex of hit makers to seek fresh collabs, he took to his Instagram to call on all classy femcees for a change to get on his new single.

“I am in search of a classy female rapper to collaborate with me on my new single. Not looking for ghetto style rapper serious inquiries only please DM me,” he wrote on IG.

It hasn’t been revealed if Graham is singing or producing on his new track. During his days as a musician, he was a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis. He also teamed up with his son for the “Heat of the Moment” track, which may appear on Drake’s upcoming Views From the 6 album.

ASAP Ant Says ASAP Yams Didn’t Die From Drug Overdose

It seems like the death of ASAP Yams has hit the Hip Hop community hard today. Many are still sending their condolences to friends and family, while more news come out about the death of the ASAP Mob Founder. Many are still asking how Yams died, an allegations of a drug overdose were rumored. However, ASAP Ant denies that notion.

This morning, DJ Vlad got in contact with Ant via phone and had a discussion about the drug overdose allegations. The ASAP member shut that rumor down quickly. Ant also spoke out about the photos of ASAP Rocky at the hospital where Yams died. Check out the interview below.

ASAP Yams Passes Away

Once again, we see another talented young being passing away this year. This morning, ASAP Yams, died at age 26. The young co-founder of ASAP Mob didn’t just make appearances in the collective’s videos an music, but he helped open doors for everyone in ASAP Mob, especially the group’s biggest stars, ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg. There hasn’t been any confirmed details on how Yams died from any sources yet, however, there were allegations that it resulted from a drug overdose, according to HYPETRAK. Run The Jewels Gets Two Marvel Comic Covers

Birdman isn’t the only one in hip-hop with a Marvel cover. Rap twosome Run the Jewels have been cartoonized for two issues of Marvel Comics’ Issue 45 of Deadpool and Issue Two of Howard the Duck.

“We didn’t know it was happening,” El-P told Rolling Stone. “We just got told it was happening and we were like, ‘You can’t be serious, that’s not possible, how is that even possible?’ Then they showed us the covers. And it’s fucking crazy.”

Killer Mike says that’s not exactly how things went and that he could recall a conversation Marvel had with their management team. Either way, he was stoked about the cover. “I was dancing around the room in my Polo underwear,” he said.

Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso said he got inspired to use the signature pose after watching his son celebrate winning a football game.

“Seeing the way that my 11-year-old son and his friends were improv-ing off of this really vibrant, iconic image. . .It got me thinking. If you’ve got this movement around the world from Bangladesh to Taiwan, people are doing their interpretations of this logo, and I got these roughnecks doing it on the sideline of a football game. . .Maybe Marvel could weight in on this and have some fun.”

Nick Cannon Files For Divorce From Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have officially hit splitsville.

According to reports, the Wild N’ Out creator quietly filed for divorce from his wife of six years on Dec. 12th. However, Mariah had allegedly already been in talks with her lawyers about the terms of her divorce before Nick filed. The “Fantasy” singer was reportedly on the phone with lawyers negotiating about her property settlement on Dec. 2nd, which caused her to be three hours late to her performance at the NBC tree lighting ceremony.

Back in August, the America’s Got Talent host had revealed that he and Mariah had not be on good terms.

The on-air marijuana debate between 2 Chainz and Nancy Grace went viral almost instantly after hitting the net. The Atlanta rhymer and the former lawyer’s weed face off attracted millions of hits, and Grace now says she wants another round with the man formerly known as Tity Boi. The HLN television host took to Twitter to challenge Chainz to a rematch.

The “Feds Watching” performer has not publicly responded to Grace’s request for another head-to-head, but he recently called out another cable news commentator. Florida Police Caught Using African-American Mugshots As Target Practice

A North Miami Beach police department is under fire, after being caught using criminal mugshots for target practice at a gun range often used for officer training. In an unbelievable coincidence, during a December visit to the range Sgt. Valerie Deant discovered that not only were the mugshots of minority offenders being used, one of the photos posted was that of her own brother, who had been arrested over 15 years ago in connection with a drag race.

Said Deant, “I was like why is my brother being used for target practice? There were like gunshots there and I cried a couple of times.”

According to the Medley Firearms Training Center, the venue is often leased to local law enforcement agencies, who are allowed to choose their own target photos.

Though many are outraged at the racial implications of the act, North Miami Beach Police Chief J. Scott Dennis has denied that race played a part stating “Our policies were not violated. There is no discipline forthcoming from the individuals who were involved with this.”

Cormega: I Don’t Respect When NYC Artists Sound Like They’re From The South

There has been a lot of discussion over the last decade about the state of New York City Hip Hop. One of the reasons often given for why the birthplace of the culture is not dominating on the national level any longer is because too many rappers from the city adopted a down south sound.

Whether that is the case or not, NYC representative Cormega has expressed he is not feeling the idea of rappers from his hometown fully embracing the southern rap style. Mega did an interview with ReThunk, and the Queens native shared his thoughts about New Yorkers sounding like they are from the Third Coast.

“You hear New York rappers that have production that sound like they’re southern artists. Or accents from their voice that sound like they’re southern artists,” said Mega. “That I don’t respect, because your accent is a direct reflection of where you’re from.”

Cormega is not sour on all the young talent emerging from the Big Apple. The creator of 2014’s Mega Philosophy album names Joey Bada$$ as one of the acts he does appreciate. Mega even compared the Pro Era frontman to early Black Moon.

“When you hear [Joey] you hear Brooklyn, so I respect that,” Cormega added. “You can tell he also studied from the greats.”

Tech N9ne Announces “Special Effects” Album & Tour (COVER ART/TRAILER)

Tech N9ne will be returning with a new album this May. The Strange Music leader’s Special Effects is set to include high-powered guest appearances and an accompanying tour.

“We’re not giving it all away just yet, but what I can say to all my Technicians who have been patiently waiting for this, get ready for your minds to be blown!” says Tech. “We made some dreams come true on this album. You will not be disappointed. It’s a beautiful thing.”

The “Tech N9ne’s Special Effects Tour 2015″ kicks off April 3. Chris Webby, Krizz Kaliko, MURS, King 810, and ZUSE were also tapped for the trek. The complete tour itinerary will be announced in the coming weeks, but Tech will also be traveling to perform in Australia and New Zealand this March.

Tech’s last album, 2014’s Strangeulation, debuted at number one on Billboard’s independent and rap charts. He also released the radio hit “Fragile” with Kendall Morgan, Kendrick Lamar, and ¡Mayday! in 2013.

Bill Cosby Under Fire Again After New Accuser Files Charges

Though many have argued that the accusations that Bill Cosby is currently facing occurred too long ago to establish concrete evidence, new accuser Chloe Goins has officially filed charges for an incident that she claims happened in 2008 at the Playboy Mansion. According to Goins, she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the fallen comedian and is now looking for her day in court.

After formally filing charges with the LAPD her lawyer advised “Ms. Goins is now determined to accomplish what so many other victims no longer have the opportunity to do— to be the girl that puts Mr. Cosby behind bars, where he belongs. Ms. Goins is here today to seek justice…She fully understands and accepts the immense responsibility that her decision to be here today carries.

The statement continued, “Apparently, Mr. Cosby feels brazen and confident enough in his actions to make jokes in his recent comedy shows about the 25 plus women that have been brave enough to come out and tell their stories of what he did to them.” Her lawyer added, “Ms. Goins is certainly not joking…Mr. Cosby should and will be held accountable.”

After a three-year hiatus, Jazmine Sullivan is back with her third album, Reality Show. Back in 2011, she broke the news via Twitter that she was taking a hiatus from music because it wasn’t fun anymore. During her recent sit down with The Breakfast Club, the “Forever Don’t Last” singer revealed that her reason for her break was deeper than that tweet.

“I left music because I was in a really bad relationship and it had gotten abusive,” she said. “It had gotten to be too much just having to deal with the industry and that my personal life was so bad. So I had to go for a second. But I’m back. I’m out of the relationship.”

She says that after her abuser “slapped her so hard that she couldn’t hear,” which possibly could have threatened her singing career, that was the wake up call she needed to leave.

The Philly songstress also touched on how Jay Z and Solange’s ‘Elevatorgate’ scandal stole the shine from her Meek Mill-assisted single “Dumb,” preventing it from becoming a hit.

“What a coincidence!” said the 27-year-old about the scandal’s timing. “I did feel like that situation kind of took away from it but it’s cool. I got a lot more songs on the album that I personally think are doper.”

Naya Rivera Recieves Twitter Backlash After Saying Showering Daily Is ‘A White People Thing’

During an appearance on The View yesterday (Jan. 13) actress Naya Rivera shared her theory on showering, deeming it something that is done too frequently by white people and not so much by people of color.

“I think that white people shower a lot more than ethics,” said the Glee star. “I think that showering more than once a day or everyday is such a white people thing.”

Rivera, who’s African America, white and German, said that she came to this revelation after marrying her white husband, Ryan Dorsey. “He showers a lot, like two to three times a day.”

The 28-year-old then used research to back up her claim, which garnered side eyes from the audience.

“A dermatologist says that you are only supposed to shower once or twice every three days. So I’m right on the mark.”

Once word of what she said got out, Rivera caught the wrath of Twitter. She then encouraged people to laugh off her comments.

Tyga Faces Heavy Fines For Missed Court Date

Tyga ha a new quandary to deal with.

This time the rapper has to contend with a former business partner than alleges the rapper used his clothing line designs without compensating him.

Tyga faces a $10,000 dollar fine because he skipped a court ordered mediation to settle the dispute.

Glennon Marrero, Tyga’s former partner, charges that he was never paid for his designs with th Last Kings clothing line.

sued the rapper last year over inappropriate usage over graphic design work. Marrero believes that Tyga used his designs for the clothing line Last Kings without proper compensation.

Tyga has maintained in public records the he gave Marrero a piece of the company, not necessarily monies derived from the work. Tyga also maintains that his former business partner left Last Kings in 2012.

In legal documents, Marrero outlines his case, charging that Tyga must pay up $10,900 in penalties.

In their docu-series, Noisey shows that there is more to the ATL than fine eateries, shopping and more socialities than you can count. In the first installment of Welcome To Atlanta, Noisey explores the city’s major drug trade, made easy by their roads deemed the”Spaghetti Junction,” which allows access to any city on the east coast. After watching former D-boy Curtis Snow cook crack and define Atlanta’s “trap music,” Thomas Morton discusses the rise and demise of Detroit-turned-Atlanta drug gang the Black Mafia Family and what their last soldier standing, rapper Bleu Davinci, is up to these days. Morton also paid the strip club a visit with ATL trio Migos.

Safaree Talks Why He And Nicki Minaj Broke Up, Her Calling Him Corny And More (VIDEO)

Nicki Minaj’s ex Scaff Beezy aka SB visited the Breakfast Club to tell his side of the story regarding their breakup.

When asked about why they decided to part ways, SB says that the line between him being Nicki’s spouse and her employee became blurred.

“It just got to a point where the respect was gone,” said the Brooklyn native. “It got to a point where I was getting treated like an employee instead of her man.”

Recently on Twitter, comedian Lil’ Duval posted tweets calling Scaff corny saying ““Nicki really was in love with that nigga. Shit like that is why u can never trust a woman’s judgement. Safaree and nicki rap just alike it just sounds corny coming from a grown ass man.” Nicki replied in aggreeance with Duval when she posted ““Duval aint Lyin. But when u love ppl u try to hide their weaknesses sometimes. Protect them from looking corny.”

SB says that when he saw that she was trying to hrow dirt on his name publicly he decided that it was only right that he speak out.

I think it’s crazy for her to be coming out now and trying to pull me down saying I’m corny,” he told the Breakfast Club.”I never planned on talking about nothing. I never planned to. But to publicly try to pull me down, that’s why I’m like you’re getting ridiculous. If anything, all I’ve done is uplift you publicly. When I’m going and putting tattoos of your face all over my body and showing the world that I think you’re the most amazing person you are at what you do. I would say it to her when it was just me and her and I would say it on a stage in front of 20,000 people. I don’t take away from her. You wanna acknowledge people that are trying to pull me down publicly and agree with them…When you try to pull me down and discredit what I’ve done for you, that’s what weak to me.”
