The recreation of the world of Aaliyah is slowly being completed. According to reports the actors set to play Timbaland and Missy Elliott in the upcoming Lifetime movie, Aaliyah: Princess of R&B.
Chattrisse Dolabaille and Izaak Smith have been cast as Missy Elliott and Timbaland in the upcoming film. Dolabaille has never been a lead actress in a film with Smith acting in 2012’s Mirror Mirror as well as So You Think You Can Dance?
The film is set to resume filming later this summer to be released this Fall.
